Also known as the Old Pueblo it is the county seat of Pima County, home to an estimated 527,972 people as of 2104 making it the second biggest populated city within Arizona. Topeka has a relatively high unemployment rate of 06.40% which has been decreased over the year by 0.70% from the year before when the unemployment rate was 07.10% whilst the average rate for Arizona cities is 06.00%. Education within Tucson is very important as it is the second biggest school district with regards to enrolment figures within Arizona. As well as having the highest enrolment figure for one of the secondary schools within the United States. The school districts which provide schools for students include one main on this being the Tucson Unified School District which has 115 schools within preschool, elementary, middle and high school as well as ten other school districts. There are also 14 charter schools and 15 private schools. The universities and colleges within Tucson can vary from private to public. Currently there are 13 institutions within Tucson however some universities are not based within the area but have branch or satellite campuses, for example the University of Phoenix which has four campus and the Pima Community college which has ten campuses, other institutions include the Art Institute of Tucson, The Art Center Design College, Brown Mackie College, Arizona State University's College of Public Service & Community Solutions, Prescott College and the University of Arizona. All the universities and colleges offer different degrees and programs, within a number of different subjects which depends on the institution.
